Inducted in 2008, Shannon MacMillan was the first women’s soccer player inducted into the Breitbard Hall of Fame following careers at San Pasqual High, the University of Portland, the USA National team and the San Diego Spirit of the WUSA professional league.
She collected a World Cup championship in 1999, an Olympic gold medal in 1996 and an Olympic silver medal in 2000. She won the Hermann Trophy as women’s college soccer’s national player of the year in 1995.
