Champions Sports Academy (CSA) is the youth educational sports training program developed by the San Diego Hall of Champions to provide a diverse curriculum of life and leadership skills to the San Diego community. CSA targets the continuously emerging young athletes, their coaches and parents or guardians. The mission of Champions Sports Academy is to teach athletic, life and leadership skills using sports and athletes as the vehicles to deliver these messages. CSA will target at-risk boys and girls to make a positive impact on San Diego’s diverse underserved youth sports market. Program topics cover sport-specific education and skills training, character building, teamwork, good sportsmanship, goal setting, and leadership development. CSA clinics are directed by the Hall of Champions sports experts and presented in partnership with elite coaches, athletes and trainers from San Diego’s professional sports, colleges, and high schools.
