A renewal of last year’s gathering of former Raiders and Chargers players before the annual rivalry game in San Diego is back by popular demand. The Raiders play the Chargers on Thursday, Dec. 4 at Qualcomm Stadium. The Former Chargers and Raiders will speak about the rivalry for Sports at Lunch on Center Court. Sweeney and Davidson will be joined by more Raiders/Chargers veterans to be announced at a later date. Tickets for Sports at Lunch are $25 for members and $30 for non-members. The Hall of Champions is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization and tickets are tax deductible. For reservations, call the HOC events department at 619-699-2309.

Former Chargers Pro Bowl guard Walt Sweeney, former Raiders wide receiver Art Powell of San Diego Highi and former Raiders defensive end Ben Davidson, a long-time San Diego resident in his retirement years, will speak about the rivalry for Sports at Lunch on Center Court.
Sweeney and Davidson will be joined by more Raiders/Chargers veterans to be announced at a later date.
Ron Mix, a Pro Football Hall-of-Famer with the Chargers who later played for the Raiders, has tentatively agreed to attend. Mix still practices law and plans to participate barring a case forcing him to be in court that day.
