The Breitbard All-CIF teams for 12 spring sports are selected for the CIF San Diego Section under the auspices of the Hall of Champions. The Breitbard All-CIF teams have been the section's official teams since the section was formed in 1960.

The All-CIF teams in baseball, softball, boys volleyball, boys lacrosse and girls lacrosse are selected by a medial panel with input from coaches. The teams in boys track, girls track, boys swimming, girls swimming, boys tennis, boys golf and gymnastics are selected by the event champions at the CIF finals. In all sports, the players of the year and the coaches of the year are selected by a media panel.

Point Loma High and San Diego State alumnus La’Roi Glover, a six-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle entering his 12th season with the St. Louis Rams, presented All-CIF certificates and Star of the Month awards for the high school spring sports season on behalf of the Hall of Champions and the CIF San Diego Section office.

Members of the All-CIF team are listed below along with photos of athletes that attended the presentation on June 25 at the HOC.

Glover was named to six straight Pro Bowls from the 2000 through the 2005 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints.

At San Diego State, Glover was an All-Western Athletic Conference pick for the Aztecs. He was a double major who graduated with degrees in public administration and sociology.

At Point Loma High, Glover was a three-sport athlete in football, wresting and track and field. As a senior in the 1991 football season, he led Point Loma to the CIF San Diego Section 3A title as a high school All-American. He was the All-CIF Defensive Player of the Year, an All-State pick by CalHiSports and an All-American by USA Today.
