Hall of Champions and MCRD enter sports partnership.
The The San Diego Hall of Champions and the Marine Corps Recruit Depot have entered into a partnership that invites young marines to attend Sports at Lunch events at the Hall of Champions and will feature displays of sports memorobilia at MCRD's gaming hall.
On Feb. 6, the Hall of Champions brought Moo Moo Evans of the Harlem Globetrotters to put on an exhibition and talk with the about 100 marines.
Other groups in attendance at the exhibition was the varsity basketball team, intramural teams and some children.
