USA water polo benefit dinner
The USA men's national team in water polo is sponsoring a fund-raiser in preparation for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing on Saturday, Dec. 29 in Coronado.
The USA men's national team in water polo is sponsoring a fund-raiser in preparation for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing while the team is in San Diego training.
The dinner is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29 at "The Hansen House" in Coronado. The historic Hansen House, located at 711 A Avenue.
Members of the USA national team, including five San Diegans, will attend the dinner. Tickets to the dinner are $50 per person and includes free admission to a training scrimmage. Donations will also be accepted.
The San Diegans from Coronado High are Jesse Smith, Layne Beaubien, Thomas Hopkins and Genai Kerr. Also attending are Brett Ormsby from Valhalla High and national team coach Terry Schroeder.
