CIF Sports at Lunch, Jim Brogan
Jim Brogan, the former San Diego Clippers guard and a TV and radio broadcast analyst, spoke to coaches and athletes at the CIF basketball and soccer press conference Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the Hall of Champions.
The press conference precedes the CIF San Diego Section finals in boys and girls basketball and boys and girls soccer on March 3-4.
CIF commissioner Dennis Ackerman will introduce the players and coaches, who will be available for media interviews.
Brogan, who played for the Clippers in their days at the San Diego Sports Arena and later with the Golden State Warriors, provides analysis on Channel 4 for University of San Diego and San Diego State basketball games and on KASH 1700-AM for USD basketball games.
He will speak to the athletes about basketball, education and life skills.
He also is a motivational speaker based in San Diego whose website is jimbrogan.com. He earned degrees in business and psychology from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
