Three recent Stars of the Month in volleyball received their plaques from former IBF World Junior Middleweight champion Paul Vaden on behalf of the Hall of Champions on July 31 at the HOC. Marcano was a Star of the Month for June when he won the San Diego PGA Chapter Stroke Play Tournament. Littler presented two plaques to Joh. Littler, from La Jolla, won the 1953 U.S. Amateur and the 1961 U.S. Open. He is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame and the Breitbard Hall of Fame. Littler, Marcano and Joh played a round of golf after the presentations.
