Five Stars of the Month honored by the San Diego Hall of Champions were recognized Feb. 24 as part of Assemblywoman Lori Saldana's luncheon program "Celebrating Female Athletes" at the Hall. HOC Ma rketing Coordinator Angela LaChica (left) presented the plaques with Saldana (fourth from left). The Star of the Month recipients were (left to right, holding plaques) Cassidy Lichtman, Francis Parker, girls volleyball; Kitty Robyn, women's pro golf; Elise Paty, San Diego High, girls basketball; Blake Hayter, Cathedral Catholic, girls swimming; and Carli Lloyd, Fallbrook High, girls volleyball.
