Awards Selection Committee
The Hall of Champions has been selecting its Stars of the Month, Stars of the Year and Breitbard Hall of Famers for more than 60 years. Starting this September, we are changing our selection process to include a cross-section of local media and sports leaders to recommend and select our honorees.
Our goals with this new process are:
- To expand the Breitbard Hall of Fame nominee selection process by establishing new guidelines and amending existing criteria for election to the HOF; and
- To add community involvement to the selection team for the Star of the Month and Year honorees
We are proud to introduce the following individuals who have offered to share their San Diego sports expertise as members of our Awards Selection Committee:
