A permanent baseball exhibit occupies a large gallery on the first level of the HoC. It not only deals with San Diego baseball sports history but provides opportunities for interactive, hands-on experiences for youth and adults.
Football
Balancing the baseball exhibit is an equally large football display. Again, on the first level of the HoC, this exhibit provides all the suspense, glitz, and glamour of today's football game. Additionally, it gives a retrospective of the sport from the earliest games in San Diego.
