2007 Roman Oben Football Camp
| WHAT: |
Roman Oben, an eleven year veteran and starting left tackle for the San Diego Chargers, will be hosting his fifth annual three-day football camp on June 28, 29 and 30 at Mira Mesa High School in San Diego. The Roman Oben Football Camp provides boys and girls, ages 8 – 14, a chance to be coached by the best in the Bay area and an opportunity to learn the proper fundamental football skills while developing good sportsmanship. The three-day camp has a coaching staff consisting of NFL assistant coaches, high school, middle school and youth program coaches. In addition, active and former NFL players attend the camp. Camper to coach ratio is no more than 13 to 1 to ensure that each participant receives proper supervision, small group instruction and maximum drill repetition. The camp begins on Thursday morning with instruction that emphasizes fundamentals, form, technique and learning the different aspects of each position. During the day, campers will participate in brief talks with players on key issues facing youth today. The “player talks” follow an open forum format, allowing for questions, group discussion and the opportunity to share personal experiences. |
