2006, Father and Son Fantasy Basketball Camp

Silas Sports is sponsoring a Father and Son Fantasty Basketball Camp July 27-30 at UCSD's RIMAC Arena. The Hall of Champions is a partner for the fantasy camp with Silas Sports.

Fathers and sons can learn and play basketball together on a team in the first Father and Son Fantasy Basketball Camp sponsored by Silas Sports July 27-30 at UCSD's RIMAC Arena.

The cost is $3,000 for both father and son. The camp is for fathers and sons ages 13-and-older. Registration continues through June 27.

The camp features Paul Silas, the former San Diego Clippers head coach and long-time player and coach in the NBA, and Basketball Hall-of-Famer Bill Walton, whose career included playing for the Clippers. Other featured guests are the Golden State Warriors' Baron Davis and the Los Angeles Clippers' Sam Cassell.

Stephen Silas is the camp director.

"It's about bonding through sports," Paul Silas said. "My son Stephen and I would like to extend an invitation to build lasting memories."

Father and son are drafted together to play on the same team and the campers play a minimum of five games. Team drills will be conducted by basketball legends on the coaching staff, coaches will teach strategies from a playbook and current NBA players will be featured speakers.
