Mike Day, Nic Long, Kris Fox and Arielle Martin will speak at Sports@Lunch on September 16. They will discuss the 2009 ABA BMX Hall of Fame Class, the US Open Nationals and the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup.
Mike Day is quickly becoming one of the most accomplished young BMX athletes in the world. A silver medalist at the Bejing Olympics, Day has been ranked number one in the world in the UCI international BMX rankings.
Nic Long, from Lakeside, CA, won the fourth round of the 2008 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup in Salt Lake City, while Kris Fox is NBL #1 Super-X, AA Pro and a future Olympian.
Arielle Martin was intro¬duced to the sport at a young age by her father, a former BMX racer himself. Today, at 22 years old, Arielle is one of the strongest women’s BMX athletes in country.
Reservation Information
Advanced reservations are $25 per person or $30 on the day of the event. Check-in begins at 11:15 a.m. You can place reservations online through Google Checkout or call our Events Department at 619-699-2313. No tickets are issued for this event. Please bring your receipt to serve as confirmation and check in with SDHOC staff upon arrival on September 16th.
