ESCONDIDO—Scoring the game’s first 34 points behind junior Jonny Martin, Cathedral Catholic marched to its 26th straight victory with a 48-6 win over host San Pasqual which was celebrating its homecoming.

Martin rushed for 252 yards, 205 of them before halftime, scoring on runs of 45 on the second play of the game, 31, and 5 as the Dons completely dominated the first half until Eagles QB Tyler Tony broke off a 66-yard scoring run in the second quarter.

Cathedral, which is ranked No. 3 in the section by the Sportswriters/Sportscasters and Union-Tribune and No. 9 in Division II in the state according to CalHiSports.com, also got a big night from quarterback Max Brewer who was 9-of-12 for 222 yards.
