San Diego State's baseball team earned an NCAA tournament bid for the first time since 1991. The unranked Aztecs open the regional against No. 9-ranked Virginia, the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament champion. The Aztecs will be traveling to UC Irvine who ended the season with a 43-13 record and was picked to host this year's regional.
